Arjan Dijk is Google’s Vice President of Growth Marketing and has more than 20 years of marketing management experience. His main responsibility and passion is to help small businesses across the world to get online and succeed online.
Prior to joining Google in 2008, Arjan worked for five years at Capital One Europe heading up the Marketing function and serving as a member of their Executive Leadership Team. Before joining Capital One, Arjan held Brand and Marketing Management roles with Unilever in the world of Ice Cream and Frozen Foods in Europe.
Arjan has a BBA degree from Nyenrode Business University, a MSc degree in Sociology from Vrije University Amsterdam and an MBA from INSEAD. In 2009, he relocated from London to the Google offices in Mountain View.
Arjan is the co-author of the released The Small Think Big Book which offers unique insights, inspirational stories and actionable ideas on how small businesses today are using the web to win. In addition to his job at Google, Arjan serves as a member on the board of directors for the GLAAD organization. He lives with his black labrador Mickie in San Francisco.
