Eisar Lipkovitz

Vice President, Google Engineering


Eisar Lipkovitz oversees engineering teams at Google that work on infrastructure projects involving Google’s web search systems, including building the index and keeping it as fresh and comprehensive as possible. Prior to joining Google in 2004, he managed Akamai’s Edge caching server development team for several years. Eisar earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, followed by an MBA in Finance, from Tel Aviv University. Eisar started programming at the age of twelve using a Commodore 64 and has maintained a deep passion for debugging and troubleshooting systems since then.
